Sliver, speckles & leather | CarolynNotCaroline

So as the above image suggests I popped into Primark/Penneys for a bit of a browse recently and picked up a few smalls bits.

Firstly I  picked up this pretty cotton grey dress with black specked dots on it. I thought this was really lovely for Summer and casual and cosy. It has an elastic waist band that gives off a nice shape to the hips.

I also really liked this dress because I feel it's a dress you can wear on a lovely Summer day and also dress it up with a belt, tights and heels for a night out!

It cost me just €9 which I think is a bargain especially when I seen similar ones in New Look and Topshop at a higher price. It is quite stretchy so I picked it up in a size down than what I am originally in dresses. It also comes in navy.

I'm a massive lover / hoarder of Primark jewellery because they have such a wide range of lovely things. Anyways, I noticed they had a few pieces on sale for just €1 and found this pretty sliver Hamsa hand necklace with a turquoise blue circular stone in the centre. I thought it was a pretty, unusual piece and I know it will go with many outfits of mine.

After picking up the dress I decided to browse some of the belts and I came across this leather black belt with gold crosses and gold buckles for just €2 and I love love love it!

Lastly I came across these set of sliver rings for €5 for the three. One is a sliver indian, one is an oval shaped ring that reminds me of a broach with a turquoise stone in the centre and the far right one is a sliver indented cross. I also thought they would go really wellwith the Hamsa hand necklace.

Summer nail polish brands/colours I have been loving | CarolynNotCaroline

1. ESSENCE

Pastel colours are still in trend at the moment and look super lovely on the nails. My personal favourite at the beginning of the year was Essence 86 A Lovely Secret (a very light lavender colour) and until a couple of days ago I had completely forgotten I owned it. Also it's a complete bargain at just under €2 a bottle and perfect for summer! Essence have gone all out in the last year with the range of colours they have and here are some of the ones I have been using throughout this Summer!

- Essence A Lovely Secret
- Essence Naughty and Pink
- Essence Little Miss Sunshine
- Essence Off to Miami!
- Essence L.O.L

2. BARRY M

I am a 'Barry M junkie' when it comes to nail varnishes because of many reasons. One, because they come in so many colours, two, they are long lasting and three they are so inexpensive and easy to get your hands on! I purchase all my Barry M products at Boots.

Anyway, before I start ranting, here are some of the Barry M nail varnishes I have been loving this Summer.

- Barry M Strawberry Ice Cream
- Barry M Berry Ice Cream
- Barry M Mint Green
- Barry M Cyan Blue
- Barry M Blue Moon
- Barry M Tangerine

3. CATRICE

Catrice nail polishes, like Essence come in a variety range of colours and are so inexpensive! There are two Catrice nail polishes that I have been obsessed with since I bought them this Summer and they both go under the 'bright coraly/orangey red shades' of nail polishes which is ultimately my favourite colour to wear on my nails all round the year. They go by the names of:
 - Catrice Fred Said Red
- Catrice Pimp My Shrimp
