February (Beauty) favourites! | Carolyn

This eyeliner Collection's 'Extreme 24hr felt tip liner' has been my favourite eyeliner for over a year now and I can't seem to find anything better or similar. It does exactly what it says on the packet because it really does last ALL DAY. Going off topic here but I once slept wearing this eyeliner  (I know, shame on me but we've all done it) and it didn't budge one bit and looked good as new the next day.  As you can see it creates any thickness of line you wish. I find that because it's a pen, you have a lot more control over the line you wish to apply. The tip of the pen is also firm but moves swiftly which was another plus for me when using it because I can't stand flimsy ends that smudges to the point you look like a panda! Another plus if you are an eyeliner hoarder, it comes in a total of four colours and is available from any drugstore, I purchased my one from Boots. here

Avon eyeshadow's are immensely pigmented. Sadly I've had this one for quite some time now that the name of it on the back no longer exists, opps! In my opinion it's a gorgeous brown shimmered colour (very similar to 'Snakebite' from the Urban Decay's Naked 2 palette. Another reason why I feel I've been reaching for it more than any other eyeshadow the past month is because of its size. I have about 4 eyeshadow palettes total, all containing wonderful colours but none fit in my make up bag *sigh*, this on the other hand is the size of a Vaseline tin, very convenient! I have been wearing this nearly every day for the past month using my finger to apply it and it sits well on the eyes and lasts the whole day without any fall down.

Avon brown eyeshadow

Catrice Kohl Kajal white eye pencil (purchased from Penneys). Mainly I have been using this on occasions where I want to look more 'awake'  / or if I'm wearing heavy smokey eyeshadow. I apply this to my bottom waterline and it brightens my eyes for the day / night. It also comes in my different colours and is so so cheap! here

Ted Baker GOLD eyelash curlers, not much to say other than they do the job, are easy to clean and are very inexpensive. I bought mine from Boots but you can purchase them from any drugstore. Available here

Ted Baker Gold eyelash curlers - €10.00
